Spork 2010:
Synopsis:
A 14-year-old intersexed girl, nicknamed "Spork" by her older brother, is unpopular,
mistreated by her classmates, and very soft-spoken. Her next-door neighbor and best friend,
known as "Tootsie Roll", is planning on entering the school Dance-Off to win $236
which she would use to visit her father in prison. During a hair-product-related dancing accident,
Tootsie Roll injures her ankle and can no longer compete in the competition.
Spork rises to the occasion and surprises the whole school by signing up for the Dance-Off.
Review:

Curiosity of Chance 2006:
Synopsis:
A confident, out-of-the-closet gay teenager has the support of an eclectic range of friends
while dealing with a homophobic bully during his first year at an international high school.
Review:
If you were an 80s kid & loved it or just love the 80s & all the great music, and love a great,
innocent buddy adventure, this movie is for you. Great but simple story with compassionate
(and sometimes crazy) characters. Often silly but never over the top.
The film doesn't take itself too seriously, yet respects the subject manner, & the viewers.
                                                                                                                                                  

Imagine Me & You 2005:
Synopsis:
A newlywed bride becomes infatuated with another woman, who questions her sexual orientation,
promoting a stir among the bride's family and friends.
Review:
This film is among one of our favs. It's romantic, funny, a little heart breaking.
The soundtrack pulls on your romantic heart strings. However, all ends well.
It even has a bonus ending scene during the end credits, so stay tuned!
                                                                                                                                                  

Ninas Heavenly Delights 2006:
Synopsis:
A feisty young Indian woman returns to Glasgow to run her deceased father's curry house.
Once there, she faces ghosts from her past regarding family,  old world "duties", her anger & love for
her father, & new feelings toward an old family friend.All while trying to keep her father curry house
from falling into her ex finances' hands,
Review:
With the beauty of Scottland as a backdrop & a touch of Bollywood, this passionate,
romantic film found the right combination of spices to make a hit.
